MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANIZING CHAIRMAN

It gives us great pleasure to welcome all of you to the 3rd Asia Pacific Conference on Public Health. This Conference is jointly organized by the College of Public Health Medicine, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia and Ministry of Health Malaysia.

The theme for the Conference is “Translating Evidence into Public Health Action” and the Conference will deal with many facets of Public Health in different parts of the Asia Pacific. We trust that this Asia Pacific Conference will encourage discussion around Global Burden of Diseases, Lifestyles Diseases, Health Promotion,Occupational Health, Road Traffic Accidents Prevention, Environmental Threats,Adolescent Health and Family Health.

The anticipated audience of this event will be academics and senior government officials from the Asia Pacific region in the field of Public Health. The Conference will provide a good platform for the exchange of experience and expertise. We hope that you will find this event stimulating and beneficial.
