Malaysia is packed with many interesting photography locations to photograph. No matter if you are a nature lover or an architecture buff, there is something for everyone wanting an outdoor wedding.
Heritage Sites
Mention heritage sites and Malacca and Penang come to mind. Penang's beautifully preserved colonial buildings add a touch of elegance to wedding photography, whereas Malacca portrays a more traditional Nyonya presence. Other wonderful photography locations such as Kellie's Castle in Perak can make for a great location to shoot. Pair it with a story behind it to make it more unique.
Nature Lover
Malaysia is not lack of lush green forests as we all know. Places such as Taman Negara in Pahang, Ulu Chepor Waterfalls in Perak, Forest Research institute of Malaysia (FRIM) each offers it's own wonderful environment for a one of a kind wedding photoshoot. So make use of our natural resources to create a great pre-wedding album.
Beach View
With ample amounts of beaches scattered on the coast of east and west Malaysia, you will be spoiled for choice on which location to choose. Beautiful sandy beaches make for a great environment for photography. On the peninsular, we have Pulau Redang or the Perhentian Islands; and over in the Bornero side we have the famous Sipadan islands. Combine a retreat with your partner and a photoshoot session to make it more memorable.
